Broderick Stephen Harvey, Sr. [ii] [3] (born January 17, 1957) is an American tv and radio presenter, histrion, author, businessman, and former stand-up comedian. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Evidence, Family Feud, Celebrity Family unit Feud, the Miss Universe competition, Family Feud Africa, and arbitration-based court comedy, Judge Steve Harvey.

Harvey began his career as a comedian. He did stand-upwardly comedy in the early 1980s and hosted Kickoff at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. He was later featured in The Original Kings of One-act after starring in the Kings of One-act Bout. He performed his terminal standup show in 2012.

Harvey is the host of both Family Feud and Glory Family Feud, which he has done since 2010. He has also hosted Little Large Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young, and Steve Harvey's Funderdome. As an author, he has written four books, including his bestseller Deed Similar a Lady, Retrieve Like a Man, which was published in March 2009.

In 2017, Harvey founded Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company that houses his production company East 112 and various other ventures. He launched an African version of Family unit Feud and also invested in the HDNet takeover forth with Anthem Sports and Entertainment. Early life

Career

Early career and one-act
